01What is Electric Café’s Suitcase?
It is a hotel comparison and stay-planning browser extension. On supported Hilton, IHG and Marriott pages, it brings together cash and points calendars, points-value estimates, saved hotels and comparisons under matching stay conditions.
02Do I need to create an account?
No. You can install and use the extension without a BurnPoints account. Hotel websites may ask you to sign in to your hotel membership account when checking member rates or making a booking.
03Which browsers and languages are supported?
The extension supports desktop Chrome, with English, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese interfaces.
04Does it book hotels or guarantee a price?
No. It helps you compare observed quotes; prices and availability can change. Confirm taxes, fees, room type, cancellation terms and any points benefits on the hotel’s official website before booking. The sample calendar here does not show real quotes.
05Where is my data stored?
Saved hotels, preferences and cached quotes are stored locally in the browser. Supported hotel websites provide quote data; reference exchange rates and optional hotel rating lookups use external services.
06Is this an official hotel-group extension?
No. Electric Café’s Suitcase is an independent tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Hilton, IHG or Marriott. Each hotel group’s own rates, eligibility requirements and reward rules still apply.
