Key takeaways
- Complete an eligible stay October 15–December 31, 2026, inclusive. A checkout after December 31 does not qualify.
- Earn 3,000 extra points per stay at hotels on the official list, or 1,000 at other participating properties. There is no cap on this promotion’s total bonus.
- Register before checkout. Existing eligible bookings count, but stays completed before registration do not receive the bonus retrospectively.
- Reward stays qualify too. Consecutive nights at the same hotel remain one stay, even with separate bookings or a checkout and check-in.

Check your checkout date, then your registration
Hilton Honors’ More Points to Play is a useful extra if you already have a Hilton trip planned for late 2026. The catch is the fixed award per stay: spending more or staying longer does not increase the promotional bonus.
As of October 4, 2026, the stay earning period has not begun. Hilton lists October 15–December 31 as the registration and stay period; the detailed terms require you to register before checkout and complete your stay within those dates. An earlier check-in can qualify, but a stay that runs into 2027 cannot.
Use the official offer link below to sign in and confirm your promotion registration. New members can join for free through the same page. Existing eligible reservations count regardless of when they were booked, so there is no need to rebook solely for this bonus.
The countdown above tracks the end of the stay promotion, using December 31, 2026 at 23:59:59 (UTC+0). The end-of-day time and UTC zone are this site’s display convention. Hilton has not published a universal cutoff time or zone; check with Hilton if your plans fall right on the deadline.
The 3,000-point tier depends on the hotel list
This is a public Hilton Honors member offer, and the FAQ says all Hilton brands participate. Properties on Hilton’s luxury, lifestyle, resort and all-inclusive list earn 3,000 extra points per eligible stay. Other participating hotels earn 1,000. Those are alternative awards, not a combined 4,000-point bonus.
Check the property rather than relying on its brand or name. The list includes Conrad and Canopy hotels as well as some DoubleTree and Hilton-branded resorts. Look up your exact hotel in the official list linked below before counting on the higher award.
Reward stays count; not every booking does
Book an eligible rate through Hilton’s website or app. The program rules exclude third-party website bookings and certain wholesale or tour packages, among other ineligible stays; this promotion also excludes groups. Adding a membership number does not make an otherwise ineligible booking qualify. Check your chosen rate’s cancellation, prepayment and refund terms.
The promotion FAQ expressly includes reward stays. Hilton’s general terms define these to include both all-points and Points & Money bookings, so reading the two together includes eligible Points & Money stays as well. The registration and checkout requirements still apply.
Consecutive nights at one hotel count as a single stay. Splitting five nights into five back-to-back reservations, or checking out and back in, does not turn them into five promotional bonuses.
What two nights would actually earn
Suppose you book two consecutive nights at USD 150 in eligible room charges per night, at a hotel earning 10 base points per eligible dollar. Those USD 300 earn 3,000 base points. Add the ordinary 1,000-point promotion bonus for a total of 4,000, or the listed-property bonus of 3,000 for a total of 6,000. The promotion itself contributes only the extra 1,000 or 3,000 points.
This is an illustration, not a room-rate quote. Taxes are excluded from the base-point calculation, and the figures leave out dining or other spending, elite bonuses, credit-card points and other offers. Base earning rates vary by brand, so the 10-points-per-dollar assumption does not apply everywhere.
Stretch the same stay to five nights and the promotion still adds just 1,000 or 3,000 points: an average of 200 or 600 per night. A qualifying one-night stay can earn the same fixed bonus. That makes this offer more useful for short visits than for extending a holiday.
Worth adding to a trip, rarely worth changing one for
I would register for an existing Hilton trip, especially a short visit or reward stay. A fixed award tends to make a bigger difference on an inexpensive eligible stay than on a costly, week-long booking.
Moving from the 1,000-point tier to the 3,000-point tier buys you only 2,000 additional points per stay. A higher room rate, extra transport or less flexible cancellation terms can easily outweigh that difference. Compare the same dates, room type, occupancy, breakfast, tax-inclusive cost and cancellation policy before treating the bonus as a reason to switch.
For plans already in place, check the hotel’s tier and checkout date, then confirm registration. If earning the bonus requires an unnecessary night or an inconvenient hotel move, I would pass.
Posting, other offers and the cover image
Allow six to eight weeks after checkout for the bonus to post. These promotional points do not count toward elite qualification. The uncapped promotion bonus also does not make every brand’s base-point rules identical.
The FAQ permits registration for other promotions unless their terms say otherwise, while this offer excludes combination with some selected offers. Being registered for two promotions is not a guarantee that every benefit stacks; check both sets of terms.
We checked Hilton’s official offer pages, FAQs, property list and membership terms on October 4, 2026. The cover is an AI-generated fictional coastal resort scene for atmosphere; it does not depict a specific participating hotel.
